How is astrological compatibility actually calculated?

Two ways, both math. The Vedic method (Guna Milan / Ashtakoota) scores eight factors from each partner’s Moon nakshatra for a total out of 36. The Western method (synastry) measures the exact angular aspects between one chart’s planets and the other’s, within defined orbs. AstralMath shows every point of the score — no hidden percentage.

Is a compatibility score destiny?

No. A score is a structured read of two charts, not a verdict on a relationship. We show the arithmetic so you can weigh it honestly rather than take a number on faith.
